In 2000 Ian joined Energis PLC (employing over 5000 staff globally) to run the UK’s network management centre; predominantly responsible for the smooth transmission of highly sensitive customer information (data and live video streaming) across the globe. Clients included UK Central Government and the BBC live broadcast transmissions. “I thrive on challenges and the pressure of responsibility; I would guess that it is something I carried over from my Police days and working in London. This was a 24/7 365 day a year role. Every day I needed to call upon my core business and personal skillsets in communication, motivation, recruitment, project management, time management, leadership, and planning. It kept me sharp and I learnt the importance of perpetual personal improvement is the key to success.”

In 2004 Ian started his own business and immediately began picking up achievement awards for his own work and his clients’ successes. In 2009 he was awarded European Seminar Coach of the Year and more recently, more recently one of his long-standing clients has just received the accolade of Local Small Business of the Year. “My measure of success is based on the results I bring for my clients. Don’t get me wrong, it’s wonderful to be acknowledged by my peers, however, the buzz for me comes from seeing clients being recognised for their hard work, achievements and success.” In 2016 Ian was awarded Highly Commended Business Personality of the Year at The Business Excellence Awards. RMAS – Royal Military Academy Sandhurst In 2018 Ian was the first ever civilian speaker and coach to be invited into the world’s most prestigious and renowned Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) to share motivational content and information with the 250 military trainers and academics.
