Kimberly Y. Griffin,
Is a Mental Health Professional. She’s received her, Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Wellness, and Graduate degree in Public Health from Purdue University, with a handful of certificates in allied health. She is a mother of 3 sons, grandmother of two, and an author of five children’s books.

She was inspired to write children's books to help other children understand that children with different abilities can make a difference in their lives too. She continues to make a difference by publishing a new magazine title; “Bully.” The magazine provides real-life stories of individuals releasing their resentment of past experiences. Due to a crisis, sickness, loss of a loved one, or tragedy.

In 2019 Kimberly experienced 3 drastic losses that caused a huge amount of heartache. The death of her Dad in January, Mother in July, and her son on his 27th birthday on October 9th, 2019, due to depression. Witnessing this pain has changed her life and allowed her to find her purpose to deliver her testimony with a vision, to change the lives of others that suffer from these common mental health conditions.

“Support Joeys Heart.” A 501(c)3 Non-Profit was created in his memory. Understanding the challenges life can bring and helping individuals build strength that will reject the feelings of depression. Healing Hearts and making each person they touch smile is the mission at “Support Joeys Heat.”


Kimberly is also, A Motivational Speaker, Advocate for health and wellness, and hosts on a new radio show. “The Talk Over Radio Show” on Praise 104.9 ~ 92.5FM that airs live every Sunday. She continues to collaborate with other non-profit organizations to make a difference in the communities of the 757 and beyond.
