Lauren Hope CEO and Founder of Good Girls Chronicles LLC shares some incredible insight on the topic of Mental health Awareness.
Lauren Hope is a former television reporter who lost everything after a suicide attempt in 2014. She subsequently became homeless, and unemployed. Through personal storytelling on social media, Lauren found help, hope, and healing. She chronicled her story on her popular blog which led to a creation of her business Good Girl Chronicles LLC and an inspiring motivational speaking career.
For over five years she has used her experience, strength, and hope to help people overcoming opioid addiction, and those living with mental illness Hope is a woman of many trades. She is a publicist, media, influencer, speaker, and mental health advocate. Hope also founded and created a storytelling show called Spark of Hope which features powerful recovery stories. Lauren recently graduated from Regent University with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications.
She is also a board member of the Virginia Chapter for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the Lived Experience Committee of the Suicide Prevention Lifeline. One day, she hopes to complete and publish a memoir on her journey and travel the country with her message.
She currently lives in Chesapeake, Virginia. When she is not working she enjoys playing with her emotional support animal, Boo and reading.
