Simone Edmondson is a woman of many talents but her passion resides in her Dreams 7 Jammies clothing apparel line. A jammies collection for young boys and girls who can identify themselves within the clothes they wear.
CEO and Founder of Dreams and Jammies, LLC, Simone Edmonson, a 2x Breast Cancer survivor, was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. While growing up, she was raised alongside her two siblings by their single mother. As Simone grew into an adult and went on to college, she attended Georgia Southern University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor's of Science in Public Health. Utilizing her degree, she joined Allstate Insurance where she held a successful, two decade career.
Outside of her work in the corporate sector, she also shined as an Entrepreneur and Business Owner. While doing so, inspired and supported by her friends and family, she formed and ran several businesses that would grow into successes. Although she puts her soul into everything she does, Dreams and Jammies has been the company closest to her heart.
This because she has firsthand knowledge of the unfortunate lack positive representations for people of color. Knowing that little girls of color especially need this, she created the pajama line as a way to celebrate the unique features that make them beautiful. Dedicated to uplifting their self esteem, Simone hopes that the future will allow her to reach and inspire girls from around the world, growing Dreams and Jammies into an even larger enterprise that is one day sold in retail stores.
As she plans to do so, she and her family, who all work to build the business up, are preparing to release children's underwear, pre-teen pjs, gowns, slippers, adjustable satin hair bonnets, as well as a line made specifically for boys. In the meantime, and outside of her company, Simone enjoys baking and cooking vegan foods, as well as experimenting with new vegan recipes.
More than anything, and above it all, she loves to spend her free time with her college sweetheart/husband of 25 years and their amazing 22 year old daughter.
